North Lakhimpur College has started a Gandhian Study Centre with the financial assistance from UGC to conduct studies, research seminars and extension programmes which are pertinent to the ideals and ideas of Mahatma Gandhi in the reconstruction of society on moral, ethical and spiritual foundations as well as to enlighten the relevance of Mahatma Gandhi in the present circumstances and importance of nonviolence in the present system of society.
