Department of Electronics

Welcome to the Department of Electronics at North Lakhimpur College (Autonomous), Assam!

Established in 1985, the department is dedicated to providing quality education and fostering excellence in the field of Electronics. The department offers a range of Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs and courses that equip students with the knowledge, skills, and hands-on experience necessary for a successful career in the rapidly advancing field of electronics and communication. The department currently offers 4-Year UG (Major and Minor, under NEP 2020), BSc (honors and general courses under CBCS curriculum), and MSc in Electronics and Communication Technology. The classrooms are enabled with ICT tools to enhance the learning experience. The laboratories are well-equipped with the latest instruments, software, and tools, enabling students to gain practical exposure and develop their technical skills. The department emphasizes research and encourages students to engage in hands-on projects, collaborative endeavors, and industry internships to bridge the gap between theory and practice.

Workshop: The workshop is equipped with Soldering, and drilling tools, and is helpful for minor assembly and fabrication of student projects.

Departmental Library: The departmental library is well-equipped with books, and magazines. The students can also access

online resources through N-LIST server.
