The department of Home science was started in the year 2008 in higher secondary level in Arts and Science stream with two faculties. Three years degree course (B.A) has been introduced from the session 2010-2011 in both the streams as an elective subject (pass course). Major (core) was introduced in the year 2014-2015 in both Arts and Science stream.
