The Department of Physics, North Lakhimpur College (Autonomous) is going to celebrate the ‘India Space Week’ on 12-18 August, 2023 to commemorate the birthday of Vikram Sarabhai, the father of Indian Space Programme (vide Govt. Ecf. No. 334818/5 dated 14th July 2023). The theme for India Space Week 2023, ‘Space for Education’, recognizes the growing significance of the Educational space institute, increasing opportunities for space education and new benefits developed by space education. During this week, the college will undertake outreach programmes in adopted schools, competitions and awareness programmes among the UG & PG students of NLC as well as interaction with scientists as per the attached schedule and guideline.
